Year 2

We read the story ‘What the Jackdaw saw’ by Julia Donaldson and decided to research and learn lots of new phrases in British Sign Language (BSL).

KS1 Mental Health Awareness performance

We were delighted to welcome Altru Drama back to school for a performance of Sophie’s Circus. It was a fantastic show which introduced us to 5 things that may help us when we feel frustrated, angry, sad and worried. Year 2 then enjoyed a drama workshop all about emotions with the ladies from Altru. We had a wonderful morning and learned lots!

Celebrating Difference - What are similarities?

Diversity:

In lesson 1 of our Celebrating Difference topic, 2F learned that although we might look different, boys and girls have similarities. We chatted with our friends about our hobbies, interests and things we like and discovered that we have more similarities than differences. We finished our lesson reading a new book which is shown here.
