We visited Reception's pumpkin patch and enjoyed lifting the pumpkins to compare their weights and sizes. We saw lots of different coloured pumpkins and some even had stripes! We looked at Reception's scarecrows, like the scarecrows in the Julia Donaldson story. We rolled conkers and small pumpkins down ramps and used litter pickers to try to pick up conkers; it was tricky!

We took some pumpkins back to the Nursery and Mr Capps-Jenner roasted one for us to try with snack.
