Year 1 children enjoyed celebrating the end of our topic all about explorers! We have learnt about Neil Armstrong and Christopher Columbus and were thrilled to showcase our learning in our Explorer's Day. Each class enjoyed 2 sessions with our visitor Zoe from Altru Drama and a thrilling explorer's trail where we found clues, sorted artefacts, made maps, collected moon rocks, read a secret space code and read riddles! Thank you to all of our wonderful families for getting involved in making some wonderful costumes. We really appreciate your support, to make this such a good day for our children. "This is the best day at Emmaus ever!" was our quote of the day.
