Celebrating Diwali
We began our Diwali celebrations by making clay Diva lamps and carefully decorating them using sequins. We have chalked colourful Rangoli patterns on the outdoor play area. We drew around our hands and cut them out, then used PVA glue and glitter to decorate our paper Mendhi hands.
We heard the story of Rama and Sita and learned a Diwali song too. We've been dressing up in traditional clothes, dancing and enjoying Indian food!
