Using the atlases to locate the River Indus in its locality. We used the key to identify key features and the compass to describe countries in relation to one another.

Fieldwork - school grounds based weather study - setting up our weather station
Today we used modelling clay to create a V-shaped valley and replicate erosion of the land.
Year three have been working on their map skills in geography. They used the key to identify and then find symbols on the Ordinance Survey maps. They were amazed to see such large maps on paper, instead of on apps on their phones! Can you believe people used to (and still do) use these when walking?!
VR headsets - this term we have been learning all about volcanoes, and this we were lucky enough to explore them as if we were there using VR headsets.

Year 3 joined a free STEM zoom lesson today to support our learning of agriculture. We saw a Liverpool urban farm in the Baltic Triangle bringing fresh crops to the inner city.
