L'Arche is a worldwide community of people with and without learning difficulties working together for a world where  all belong. L'Arche communities are vibrant places of welcome, belonging and celebration with a clear commitment to offer people with learning difficulties the opportunities to lead fulfilling lives, regardless of their disability.

The first community was founded in France and was named L'Arche which is French for "The Ark" as in Noah's Ark.

There is a L'Arche community in Liverpool.
