A carnival of colour in Reception to celebrate the Hindu Festival of Holi, the Festival of Colour.  We researched the traditions of this exciting festival and discovered that Hindus welcome the beginning of Spring by worshipping their God at the temple and sharing food and lighting bonfires.  We loved the tradition of playing tricks on each other and joined in with the joy of throwing, sprinkling and immersing ourselves in colourful powder paint to create a beautiful splatter artwork.
