Celebrating Down Syndrome Month

We celebrated Down Syndrome Month by listening to Ella's story. We talked about what we love about school, what we like to do with our friends and how we help out at home, just like Ella. We also thought about things we need help to do, just like Ella. We had fun singing 'Old MacDonald Had a Farm' as learnt the animal signs. We loved singing 'I'm Special' with the signs too!

Our Different Sock Day reminded us of how we are all different but we are all special too. We enjoyed a special snack together of cakes, toast and fruit to celebrate how different but special we all are.
