Nursery Caterpillars
Today we released our three Painted Lady butterflies, they even sat on some children's fingers, trousers and shoes!
It's day 14 since the caterpillars built cocoons....two butterflies have emerged! We're waiting to see when the remaining two butterflies emerge.
Our Painted Lady caterpillars have grown so big and have spun their cocoons. We are estimating how many days it will be before they emerge as butterflies.
