We filled balloons with water and held them to see if they were heavy or light. We put some water balloons in the freezer

​and the rest outdoors. We talked about what we would thought might happen to the water. 

We explored the ice balloon when they came out of the freezer: they felt smooth, cold and heavy. We played with the ice in the water tray with the cold climate animals.
