My name is Miss Walker and I am going to be your new class teacher. I am so excited to welcome you into year 1 very soon. We are going to have a fantastic year together and I am very much looking forward to it - I hope you are too!
During your time at home please try to read as much as possible, this will make sure you are prepared for year 1. Reading is something we work really hard on in year 1 and I would love to hear about all the different books you have read at home! We have found some lovely transition activities for you to have a go at when you're at home, we would love you to try these too!
We have some super topics planned that you are going to enjoy! I am looking forward to meeting you and all your families very soon.
