Ball Skills
Net and Wall Games
We used the ready position to catch a ball as it bounced out of the hoop from an underarm throw! Lots of key skills incorporated into our lesson; throwing, catching, balance, direction and agility!
Gymnastics
Year 1 are working hard to balance and squeeze their muscles to stay as still as a statue. We have used the apparatus to demonstrate different shapes in different ways.
Sports Day!
The weather finally turned out for us! We had a wonderful afternoon at Sports Day, showing our families how amazing we are! We demonstrated throwing, running, jumping, kicking, balance and coordination skills. It was great to see so many families turn out to support us.
We have been trying hard to control the ball with our tennis rackets
Year one have been enjoying doing dance as part of their PE lessons, today we were dancing like pirates!
