All our learning experiences had a connection theme this week...we used colours to link to different emotions, we shared our stories about who our 'invisible string' in connected to and we understood the importance of reaching out to those we trust when things don't feel right.

Reception have been sharing their feelings on World Mental Health Day and enjoyed participating in a range of activities which have helped us to look after our emotional health: Yoga Babies to stretch our bodies and our minds, Rainbow Breathing to bring down high energy levels and manage big feelings and Lion King sensory peer massage to relax.

In Reception we have been focused on supporting children and helping them to build constructive and respectful relationships.
We have been talking about our families and children have been telling us about their family. Families have shared photographs and news from home. We have all enjoyed talking and listening together.
