'Shine...from the Inside Out' during Lent!
Lent...a time to grow more like Jesus
and SHINE from the inside out!
We began our Lenten preparations on Shrove Tuesday when we all joined in with traditional pancake races and enjoyed tasting pancakes with a variety of toppings!
On Ash Wednesday, Rev Alastair led a special service to mark the beginning of Lent. We all received a sign of the cross on our foreheads to show everybody that as Christians, Lent is the time when we make a special effort to grow more like Jesus and allow God's love to shine in everything we do. To help us remember this important message, we have been singing a song every day during Lent called SHINE!
