Tossing Pancakes
We listened to the story "The Big Pancake" and joined in with the repeating refrains. You can listen to Mrs Caulfield reading it again if you click on the link 'Stories' on the Nursery webpage.
To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day, the children made pancakes for snack. We enjoyed them with a choice of lemon, chocolate sauce or strawberry sauce with sliced banana and tangerine.
We also had great fun tossing ready made pancakes together in Nursery. Have a look at the photos below!
Shrove Tuesday is the beginning of Lent when we will be thinking about how we can become more like Jesus, showing love and kindness to each other.
