"The Tiger Who Came to Tea" Role Play

 

We loved listening to the this enchanting story by Judith Kerr. The children dressed up and re-enacted the story of Sophie and her Mum having a tiger to tea. The children painted boxes and used stripy paper collage to make a tiger model. Millie painted a beautiful tiger face! They Nursery children drew pictures and dictated parts of the story for the class floor book. The children matched cups to saucers then counted them, they put 5 teabags in the teapot to make pretend tea. The children set up a picnic for the tiger and counted how many tins of tiger food there were.
