Task 1:
Draw the grandfather clock and write down what you think Tom’s thoughts could be about it in speech bubbles.
Remember to use the first person 'I'.
Task 2:
Chapter 2 finishes with the lines: “I’m going to prove this, one way or the other. I’m going to see what the clock fingers say. I’m going down to the hall.”
