History: The Great Fire of London
The children enjoyed two workshops delivered by Altru Drama, which inspired our understanding of the events around the time of The Great Fire of London. The workshops involved drama, singing, dancing and opportunities for the children to create their own tableau relating to the events of the fire in groups.

The children in butterflies group used drama to retell the Gospel stories of Jesus calming the storm and the birth of Jesus to the children in 2M and 2F.

Counting in steps
As part of our number and place value learning, we have been learning how to count in steps of 2, 5 and 10. We ordered numbers in sequences and showed our understanding of place value when counting in steps both forwards and backwards. Over the next few weeks, we will be learning how to find ten/five more, ten/five less and use these skills in addition and subtraction.
