We have been talking about our families, pets, our interests and thinking about how we have grown from being babies. We have made collages at home of 'A Few of Our Favourite Things' to share with our friends at Nursery. We have talked about what we can do 'now we are big' compared with being a baby.
Matilda's baby Jacob came to visit and we heard about how he drinks milk because he has no teeth. We looked at his tiny vest and baby grow. He is very small because he is only three weeks old. Jacob's Mummy showed us his record book for his measurements, weights and immunisations. She showed us a bottle with a teat which he can suck on. It has a measure down the side to show how much milk Jacob has drank.
We heard how Jacob has a dummy and wears nappies because he still has a lot of growing to do!
We have made hand and foot prints to see how big we are now and we are learning that God has made us all, He loves us and knows our names.
