Our current RE topic is 'Good News'.  As we celebrate Pentecost, we remember the special promise that Jesus made to his friends when they received God's gift of the Holy Spirit.  This gave them the power to share the Good News of Jesus with everyone.  We shared our own good news in our good news post-box then we explored some of the special symbols of the Holy Spirit. We sang the song "God's spirit lives in me", made wind spirals, fire sticks and shared Bible stories around our fire lamp and bubble machine.  Best of all was the real fire that we lit in our firepit outside; we all sat in the fire circle and reflected on the flames as they grew, just like God's love and the power of the Holy Spirit growing in our hearts...
