Hello and Welcome to Year 1!
We have two year 1 classes, Mrs Walsh's Class 1W
and Mrs Cooper & Mrs Buckland's Class 1CB
We are lucky to be helped by Mrs Wood, Mrs Bray and Mrs Jabakhanji.
This term’s topic is All About Me.
We are going to be learning some exciting information about ourselves and our local area.
1CB do P.E on a Monday and 1W on a Friday so please have your P.E kit in school for these days.
Homework goes out on a Friday and needs to be returned the following Wednesday.

All About Me!
Year one’s topic for the first half term is All About Me. We have transformed our learning areas into a Doctor’s Surgery where the children can learn about the body through role play. In our topic lessons we will be learning about the local area, our bodies and how we are all different. The children will look at Liverpool and the United Kingdom on an interactive map and will learn about addresses.
