A message from Miss Fitzgerald

Hello everyone! My name is Miss Fitzgerald and I am going to be your Year 2 teacher. I'm sure lots of you will recognise Mrs Hunstone & I from the playground and around school. We are so excited to have you join us in our class and we can't wait to meet you and create some fun memories together.

Mrs Hunstone & I work with Miss Martin & Mrs Parry from 2M to help us create one big year 2 family. We work together for a lot of our lessons and Mrs Parry and Mrs Hunstone work with both classes too. There is always someone to help in Year 2!

I know that some of you have been away from school for a while now and hope that you are enjoying spending time at home and with your families. While you are away from school and over the holidays, try your very best to read with an adult every single day, this will make sure you are super prepared for a wonderful and fun year with us in Year 2. Reading is something we work very, very hard on in Year 2 and it is always a pleasure to hear about the lovely books you have read in the holidays.

We have some wonderful topics and learning planned to help us all to enjoy a great year that is filled with fun and happy, smiley faces! Year 2 is a fantastic year and we look forward to seeing your fantastic work.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and all of your families too, so very soon.
