Growing Frogs

More amazing learning experiences as part of our ‘Wonderful World’ topic!  We witnessed the life cycle of a frog right before our eyes. 

 

We were fascinated to watch the tadpoles darting as we fed them live blood worms.  Then we were delighted to enjoy a close encounter with a real live frog, observing it jump, hop and stretch! We researched these interesting creatures with non-fiction texts, developing lots of new vocabulary and scientific understanding of living things, growth and change.

 

  Thanks to the grandparents of Myla and Willow for providing the wildlife this week!
