We enjoyed a day of discovery this week when ‘Dylan’s Reptile Time’ came to visit with an array of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids for company! Dylan explained how these fascinating creatures live, feed, move and protect themselves. Many of us faced some fears and overcame our own misconceptions about these amazing animals as we had an opportunity to handle, hold or stroke each one: Sparky the bearded dragon, Dave the tortoise, Millie the millipede, Rosie the tarantula, a blue-tongued skink, Smeagol the corn snake and the grand finale…Stretch, the enormous boa constrictor!
