Alldays Farm

 

We enjoyed a full day of hands-on discovery with the animals and farmers from Allday’s Farm.  The children met, petted and groomed Henry the Shetland Pony, Thor and Loki the Kune Kune pigs, Rainbow and Mr Bean the lambs, as well as Skye and Everest the pygmy goats.  We listened carefully as the farmer Steve explained how to look after these wonderful creatures.  The children also had the chance to stroke and feed some smaller animals: Mischief and Hazel the rabbits, Pegasus and Sandy the chickens, Razzle Dazzle the guinea pig and Chase the Chinchila! 

 

Farmer Steve was amazed by our wonderful children and repeatedly praised their positive behaviour, eagerness to learn and polite respect when moving around and handling the animals.  We were so proud to hear this lovely feedback about our children and our school.
