At Emmaus Nursery we love to explore and play with number in the indoor and outdoor environments. Here are a few photos of a child initiated activity on a typical day. Children matched, ordered and recognised numbers, as well as working together mark making numbers and letters on a giant paper roll. They used rulers to create patterns, draw lines and explore early measurement.
