Den Building Day with Dads, Grandads and Uncles
We had a great day building dens this week. Dads, Granddads and Uncles came in to help and join in the fun! We used masking tape, pegs and clamps to make cane frames and cover them with fabric. Oliver’s secret den included tyres too! We made dens ranging from Ace’s Grimlock Ghost Den to Jessica’s Cat Den, Carter’s Fire Den, Thomas’ Underwater Den and Zach’s Best Friends’ Den. Neil from the Children’s Centre read us a story about a little boy flying a kite with his Dad and we made kites too. The children loved showing their Dads and Granddads the mud kitchen, garden centre, work in their learning journeys, the tadpoles, broad beans growing and floor books.
