Nursery Yoga Time
Carly and Pauline came to visit from the Children's Centre for some Yoga fun. We enjoyed breathing like a dragon, blowing out candles and laughing like a witch! We stretched our bodies and made our muscles strong through poses like the butterfly, laughing baby, downward dog, cat, cow, frog and warrior. We enjoyed big movements to Wheels on the Bus and Wind My Bobbin Up. We tried out shapes like a triangle and reached up tall in long, narrow shapes. We finished with movements and singing to Sun Salutation, Sun Dance Song. At the end of our yoga session, we put our hands on our chests to feel how fast our hearts were beating after all the healthy exercise we had been doing!
