Reptiles, Minibeasts and Dinosaurs!
Following Dylan's Reptile Time visit, the children were very excited to hunt for minibeasts using magnifying glasses, browse non fiction texts on bugs and reptiles and draw and dictate about their favourite macro and microbeasts too!
An interest led theme on dinosurs emerged after Dylan explaining that crocodiles lived at the same time as dinosaurs. (Charlie P named a crocodile as a type of reptile.)
The children used puppets to explore the themes. They made notes and drawings in floor books while they worked up as paleontologists. The children dressed up as dinosaurs and caterpillars too!
