Tous Ensemble, En Chemin Avec Jesus
We are having fantastic fun on our bikes every week in our Balanceability sessions,
led by Liverpool School Sports Partnership
Session 6: Mission Complete! Certificates prouldy awarded by Ciach Joey...
Session 5: Perfect weather conditions to show off our skills in a much bigger area and take on the challenge of braking on demand to avoid hitting the obstacle - Coach Joey!
Session 4: Feeling the wind beneath our wheels, we experienced the joy of lifting our feet off the ground and gliding in straight lines, circles and around obstacles.
Session 3: The bright winter sun came out at last so we went outside to learn steering & turning skills. We are really improving at lifting our feet & gliding too!
Session 2: We got competitive with the 'bench balance challenge' then practised using the brake on our bike to stop and start on demand. Some of us faced our fears to get on our bikes and have a go too!
Session 1: Despite the wind & the rain, we practised balancing on & off the bikes, steering to avoid obstacles & moving then stopping on demand. Coach Joey was so impressed with the concentration and determination demonstrated by the children.
