Christmas Fun in Reception
We have really enjoyed counting down the days until Christmas. Every week during Advent we had lots of fun joining in with special Christmas activities and events as we prepared for the birthday of Jesus. When we performed our Christmas play, 'Children Around the World', we reflected on the Good News of the Christmas story and prayed for friends, family and people in need all over the world. We remembered that Christmas is the birthday of baby Jesus, God's precious gift to us all. Everyone in the Infants dressed up and performed songs and dances to tell our seasonal story.
The last week of term was especially exciting as we were entertained by Mike Amatt, Coverdale Puppets and we even had surprise visits from Elsa, Anna and Olaf, as well as Santa Claus himself! On Christmas Party Day, we dressed up in our Christmas jumpers, enjoying games and treats all day long.
