Vets Role Play
Based on the children's interests in animals, we set up a vets role play. We talked about what happens in a vets, writing lists and notes on the animals and the equipment used by the vet and veterinary nurses. Children looked after sick animals, wrote prescriptions and performed health checks. Some children moved on to checking each other, working as doctors and nurses, so after Easter we will be moving on to a baby clinic with doctors and nursing staff.
