Evacuation Day
During the Autumn Term, we have been studying Liverpool at war. As part of this topic, the children were evacuated as far away as Croxteth Park. Each child made a gas mask box, and carried a label with their character's name on. The purpose of the visit was to try and imagine what it must have felt like all those years ago for the child to leave their family and head off into the unknown.
