Understanding our place in the world: using maps to infer information
We read the story Whatever Next and decided we were going to create our own rocket and go to the moon! We decided what we would need to take and what we could use as a space suit. We were very creative when we decided what we could use as space helmets to keep us safe on our journey.

Yoga Time - We went on a space picnic! As a class we joined in before we continued in small groups.
The International Space Station
We have been learning about life aboard the international space station. We have listened to astronaut's talking about life in space. Using shapes we have created our own space station and have thought carefully about the spaces we would need. We had a lot of fun together and as always our learning was cross curricular. We spent time talking about the shapes and their features too.
