Chester Zoo
As part of our cultural capital offer, for our ‘living things and their habitats’ topic, we took a trip to Chester Zoo! We spent time looking at different animals and reading and learning about how they are adapted to their habitat. As part of our workshop we even got to watch Napo the jaguar being fed, and some of us met CBBC legend Steve Backshall who was filming at the zoo too! A very inspiring day!
Working Scientifically
Have a look at our photographs. We investigated the best method to wash our hands. We used green glitter to represent germs 🦠 on our hands and tried different methods. Here is our super scientist showing you how it’s done!
