We are delighted with how hard your child has worked in Read Write Inc this year.
Please find some QR codes attached, providing links to short learning videos your child could practice over the holidays.
If they regularly spend a few minutes reminding themselves of the sounds they have been learning and their word reading skills it will benefit them immensely in September. We have enclosed the word card sets that we read in class. If your child is able to practice reading 5-10 words regularly it will help them retain their reading skills. We always use the phrase, "Fred Talk, read the word". They then sound out the word and read it back.
Please be aware that your child will have books linked to them on the Oxford Owl ebook website and there will be quizzes they can complete online too.
