Dancing Raisins Experiment

You will need:

  • still water
  • sparkling water/lemonade
  • 2 glasses
  • raisins

 

Method

  1. Pour a glass of still water and drop in some raisins. Notice what happens to the raisins, do they float or sink?
  2. Pour a glass of sparkling water/lemonade and drop in some raisins. Do the raisins act differently in the sparkling drink? Why do you think this is?
