Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal
We listened to the story of Mungo the bear who was bought from a toy shop and packed into a shoebox to be sent to a child without toys or family. We then looked at what to put in a shoebox for Christmas. The morning children helped to carry the boxes down the corridor to be picked up to take to the warehouse and flown by plane across the world.
Your kindness sending in shoe boxes makes a real difference in a child's life. If you forgot and would like to send a shoebox, please pass to Mrs. Caulfield this week, and she will take it to the warehouse. Also Year 6 School Council are helping at the warehouse on 29th November so they will take extra boxes with them too. Thank you.
