HMS Warship Prince of Wales
The Warship HMS Prince of Wales came to dock in Liverpool. Jacob, Alfie, Laura, Maria and Lucas N all went to visit. They emailed photos, brought in brochures and pictures in their special home school news books. The children told their friends all about the ship. Maria said, "The River Mersey had a big, white warship." "I saw a big boat and I got a flag," Laura told everyone. "The aeroplane had big rockets underneath to shoot the boats. The warships sank years and tears ago!" Jacob explained. "I went to see the boat with Chrissy and Da (Grandad Terry)" Lucas said. Nursery painted pictures based on the poster Alfie kindly brought in. They created mark making for the display too.
