10 new arrivals!
We received a very special delivery this week – a batch of ten hen’s eggs for us to look after! All week long, we have excitedly monitored the eggs in their incubator, looking out for any changes as the chicks grew inside. We didn’t miss a moment, thanks to our ‘chick-cam’ live video feed linked up to our smartboard in the classroom, streaming footage of the eggs as they wobbled and cracked...

We were delighted (and relieved) to discover the first egg hatched on Thursday! We didn’t have to wait very long for more new arrivals and we were so excited when we came into school on Friday morning as we were able to witness a live hatch right before our very eyes
