The Tiger's Tea Party

 

The children love the story 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' by Judith Kerr. Following the children's interest, we added tiger suits, cups and saucers, a large teapot and a giant tiger to the role play area. The children had great fun developing their imagination, social communication and vocabulary.

We made a tiger out of reclaimed materials, painting boxes, tearing and gluing stripy paper on.

The children iced cakes for our Tiger Tea Party. They made clay buns and, later in the week, home made vegetarian pizza too.
