Year 6 Junior Helpers
At Emmaus School we are very proud of the children and how they love to help one another and show kindness to others in our Emmaus 'family'. We have wonderful helpers from Year 6 who give up some of their break and lunchtime to help out in Nursery. The younger children love the Junior helpers and enjoy role play, construction, painting and hearing stories from the Year 6.
It is really helpful when the Nursery are first settling. It has been indispensable when an older child is able to converse and translate in the first language to a pupil who is just beginning to learn English.
