5 Rhymes
We had so much fun singing these songs and we loved all the learning opportunities we could gain from one simple rhyme. We sang the rhymes and discussed how some of them counted down from 5 to 0. Our engaging learning experiences allowed us to investigate how it was 1 less each time and explore number composition to 5.
5 Little Men in a Flying Saucer
5 Currant Buns in a Baker's Shop
5 little ducks went swimming one day...
We had so much fun singing and jumping. We were marvellous little monkeys.
We were fantastic frogs this week and had great fun singing, jumping into the pool and singing the rhyme whilst playing in our frog pond water tray.
We carried on having fun with the rhymes we know! The children built a sailing ship and sang The Big Ship Sails on the Alley Alley Oh. We made birthday candles and sang Happy Birthday. We have had so much fun learning through nursery rhymes. We started adapting them to make up our own and created story maps for our rhymes.
