Wellies and Waterproofs!
We have been learning to become more independent, putting on our waterproofs and wellies ourselves. We had an exciting day using the tap and hose to fill containers and transport water to the mud kitchen and Nursery beach. We co-operated making mud pies, cakes, soup, pancakes and ice cream. We added seeds and berries from the trees to our cooking as well as leaves, sticks and stones.
We took turns pumping water from the tank into pots and onto our friends with their hoods up! We shared ideas and resources as we played creatively in the natural environment. We had so much fun working together and sharing ideas with our friends.
We found ants and a small caterpillar as we played together. We are so careful when we look at the minibeasts living outdoors.
