Children's Mental Health Week
In Reception, we have been learning to SPEAK UP! On Mindful Monday, we calmed our minds and bodies with meditation, yoga and sensory massage. The children felt empowered to express themselves and feel that their voices are heard when they finished the session with their affirmation that:
“I have a voice. I can speak up. My voice will be heard.”
On Technology Tuesday, we celebrated Safer Internet Day. Again, we understood the importance of speaking up if we see something that makes us feel uncomfortable when we are online. We remembered Smartie the Penguin’s message:
Before we tap and click, we must stop and think and TELL SOMEONE!
