Additional Growing Activities
Plant a seed and keep a diary of how it grows - A good way to encourage your child to draw and write. Write a word, a sentence or several sentences about what they see. Choose which diary to use or create your own.
Encourage your child to talk about the seed life cycle and use this opportunity to develop their scissor control by cutting out the pictures. Read the captions together to develop their reading skills.
Creative Flower Activities
During this time you may have to be creative with the resources you have available in your house. We hope you have fun making flowers using what you can find. We have seen some fantastic ones using items collected outdoors and arranged to make a unique flower.
