Reception visit to the Story Barn
To celebrate our school Book Week, we embarked upon our very first school trip to the Story Barn in Calderstones Park. Both classes had an amazing time exploring a wealth of books and discovering a host of quirky, interesting antiquities, all of which really stimulated lots of talk, questions and some amazing vocabulary.
Story Time...
The Story Barn staff led delightful story, song and art sessions all based around an ‘Autumn’ theme. Outside, we followed the Story Hunters around the park, searching for the magical 'Story Door' and listening to stories and singing songs along the way. We joined in with huge enthusiasm, imagination and eagerness to explore as many stories, books and rhymes as we could. Take a look at our photos...
