World Day of Prayer
The first Friday in March each year is the World Day of Prayer. We thought about God's special book, the Bible, and how in the Bible Jesus shows us that we can pray any time. When we are happy and thankful, when we are sad, scared or when we need to ask for God's help, God our Father always loves to hear our prayers.
We used our prayer bowl. We prayed for the world, asking God to help those who are sick in hospital, the doctors and nurses who are caring for them and for the coronavirus to end.
Children prayed for their families, friends and sick people. Prayers included Paloma thanking God for her sister, Mum and Dad, Joseph prayed for his family, Joshua prayed for his Dad, Ava I. prayed for coronovirus to stop and for kissing (to start again!)
