Pancake Day!
We celebrated Lent approaching by making pancakes, tossing cold pancakes and enjoying warm pancakes together for snack. We listened to the story of 'The Big Pancake' and joined in with the repeating refrains.
Together we counted the pancake ingredients as they were added to the mixing bowl. We all took turns stirring the mixture with a whisk to make a smooth pancake batter ready to cook for snack.
Harry McCourt (morning) and Harry Crook (afternoon) won certificates for the Champion Pancake Tossing!
