Harvest Celebration
Harvest at Emmaus Nursery
To celebrate Harvest at Emmaus we all wore clothes in the colours of the Sri Lankan flag (red, orange, yellow and green) and collected money for school children in Sri Lanka. The Nursery children also harvested potatoes planted in the garden and tried them at snack with butter and cheese. We sang, 'Thank you Lord for this Fine Day,' during collective worship. The children suggested fruit and vegetables we could sing thanks to God for on our Harvest celebration day.
